Bernd Affleck is a Dj and promoter who's dedicated to the underground music scene since 2019. In addition to organizing events he's part of the Schimmer Records sub label Groovebox which is focused on House music but also covers other genres such as breakbeat, Ambient and UK Sound.

In 2023 Erik found a new event series which is called Place of Ascent. The last big event took place at Wagenhallen Stuttgart and included DVS1 and Rødhåd in the lineup.

Bernd Affleck's music itself stands for quality House, Electro, Deep Tech and Minimal.
